I've been wearing out my espadrilles this summer. My friend Jacqui brought back a few perfect pairs from Paris last year and I've been searching for something similar ever since. I found them a few weeks ago (at Urban Outfitters!!)
There is a tiny shop in my neighborhood called Les Toiles du Soleil which sells espadrilles and striped fabrics that look like candy. The company was founded 150 years ago and still makes the happiest fabrics in the traditional way. I might have to get a couple of the these dishtowels to brighten up my kitchen.
